A modern student does not always have enough scholarships or pocket money. And some have neither. Therefore, we decided to conduct a survey among seven students of the Faculty of Journalism, and find out where they earn extra money.
Katya Nifontova, a 2nd year student of the specialty «Journalism (print media)», shared: — I began to feel a lack of money. At the same time, I want to help my parents, try to live separately. That’s why I work part-time on cryptocurrency exchanges. It comes out about $ 50 a week, but I decide for myself how much I will work and complete tasks.
Kirill Dmitruk, 2nd year student of the specialty «Journalism (web journalism)», about his part-time job: — I always wanted to test myself, my endurance. It’s a good experience, new people. When you hold hard-earned money in your hands, it inspires. Now I work as animators at the robot museum. Constantly at work, I am tormented by the question of whether I have done everything according to my studies. Unfortunately, there is not always enough time for sleep and rest. I get 76 rubles for the weekend.
Ksenia Petrovskaya, a 2nd-year student of the specialty «Journalism (web journalism)», told: — I started doing what I loved, and then it turned into a full-fledged profession. Therefore, money is the resulting moment. In general, earning your money is always cool. This way you become more financially independent from your parents. I work as a freelance copywriter with expert bloggers and help them write selling texts. When a lot of projects accumulate at the university, and in parallel with this you need to close deadlines for work, it can be difficult.
