Nowadays there is a great variety of jobs to any taste and it is really not an easy task to choose the right one. I began to think about my future profession at the age of 15. And I know well what I’m going to do after leaving school. I’m interested in journalism.
I came to this decision little by little. In the autumn I visited the Faculty of Journalism of the Belarusian State University and the Belteleradiocompany.
Vladislav Listyev aroused my interest in that field. I watched programs with Listyev and was amazed by his attitude to work.
You see, I used to write articles about the pop and rock scene.
So I’ve learnt a lot about this profession. Journalists collect information and distribute it to the media. To become a good specialist in the field of journalism I must know many sciences, such as the basics of journalism, political science, economics, philosophy, Belarusian, Russian and foreign languages and literature and much more. If I pass my entrance exams successfully and enter and to justify the hopes of my parents. I also hope that I’ll never regret my choice and get a well paid and interesting job afterwords.
