Each country has given the world a number of people who changed our world, but not everyone changed the world for the better. Some people do volonteer or charity work helping people all over the world. For example, Mother Teresa helped poor people of India and became famous due to her great heart. In addition I would like to say that the world history of scientific achievements records the names of Belarusians Yakub Narkevich-Yedka — the inventor of electrography, Sofia Kovalevskaya — a mathematician, Pavel Sukhoi — an aircraft designer and others.
Besides, I would like to tell you about one Nobel Prize winner. This is Steve Jobs who founded Apple Computer — a company that revolutionised the personal computer. At first Steve Jobs with his friend Steve Wozniak built their first computer together and a local electronics shop bought fifty of these computers, but then they changed the computer industry making computers smaller and more comfortable for people. It seems to me Steve Jobs changed our lives for the better.
If you want to become a successful person, like Steve Jobs, you should follow some tips.
- Firstly, you should remember that success is hard work.
- Secondly, don’t be afraid of making mistakes, because mistakes are life lessons.
- Thirdly, you should be interested in what you are doing.
In conclusion I would like to say that you will achieve everything, if you work hard. You shouldn’t be afraid of difficulties. So I believe that hardworking people are successful.
